Conceived as a case for daily life, the high-set box combines utility and refinement. Alix designed this object to preciously store little sweets and small treasures: candies, sugared almonds, cufflinks, an antique brooch, or an intimate keepsake… It follows the codes of the Universal Ointment, blending hand-crafted Limoges porcelain with a delicate setting created by one of the last master porcelain setters in France. The brass trim, finely beaded and punctuated by a floral motif, lends the piece a charm from another era, somewhere between heritage and modernity. To be displayed in a bathroom, on a desk, or in a cabinet, like a porcelain jewel.
