Acanthus scrolls intertwine on the hinges of the cathedral doors. A grandiose and eternal place where one walks in silence, enveloped by notes of incense. Mystical resins with distant evocations that, once burned, help the soul to ascend. Alix Depondt-Reynis seeks the soul of objects from yesteryear, and draws inspiration from the forms of the past for her creations. The Médicis scented candle borrows the mythical silhouette of 16th-century Medici vases. Each scent was developed exclusively for Maison Alix D. Reynis by a master perfumer in Grasse. The wax is made from vegetable oils and the wicks are made of pure cotton. Once the candle is consumed, the container can be reused as a vase, a tumbler, or even a jar thanks to its elegant lid, sold separately. Notes: incense, elemi, cloves, and rosemary
Sold without lid
Instructions for use: to ensure the candle burns evenly, it is recommended to let the wax melt to the edges of the tumbler and trim the wick regularly before use to prevent it from emitting black smoke. The vase can be reused once the candle is finished and complemented by others in the collection. Clean it with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any remaining wax.
