When Alix Depondt-Reynis creates new pieces, she likes to draw inspiration from antique objects she discovers during her wanderings in museums. It was during a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon that she discovered a Greek terracotta vase dating from the 5th century BC, which inspired her so much that she decided to reproduce it in porcelain: this is how the Godron pitcher was born. This piece is hand-sculpted in our Parisian studio, then cast in porcelain at our Limoges workshop using traditional techniques. The Godron pitcher will serve as a carafe during your meals, as well as a vase for your seasonal flower bouquets. It will perfectly complete the Godron collection, which includes a medium vase, a tea tumbler, and a candle holder.
