Alix Depondt-Reynis seeks the soul of objects from yesteryear, drawing inspiration for her creations from the forms of the past. The Napoléon lid was designed to pair perfectly with the Napoléon candle imagined by Alix D. Reynis. For this collection, the designer drew inspiration from the timeless shape of the cups created by the Sèvres porcelain factory for Emperor Napoleon I at the very beginning of the 19th century. The Napoléon lid, made of Limoges porcelain, is handcrafted in France by the artisans of our family-owned workshop using traditional techniques.
