Craftsmanship
The Boule wall hook is handcrafted from porcelain in our family-owned Limoges workshop, thanks to the expertise of our artisans. It complements the hardware collection of the same name, which includes a Bordeaux-style door handle, a cabinet knob, and a door pull.
Inspiration
The Boule collection is inspired by antique gilded wood curtain holdbacks from the 19th century, discovered by the designer. A curtain tieback is a cord or strap used to gather and hold a curtain to the side, attached to a wall hook (or holdback).
Uses
The Boule wall hook is a sculpted piece with a decorative purpose, much like a wall sculpture. Originally created as a coat hook, you can use it to hang bulky items (coats, bags) or accessories (scarves). It can also be used to install some of our portable lamps. We recommend pairing it with Bonaparte and Béhor, or with Paris for a more Baroque style.
Available in a matte or glazed finish - We recommend tightening the screws gently by hand to avoid breaking the porcelain.
Each piece sold by Alix D. Reynis is stamped in chrome green, guaranteeing that it was entirely manufactured in a Limoges workshop.
