Alix imagined a precious and delicate case for placing jewelry worn during the day on a bedside table or near a sink at night: this is how the jeweled porcelain box was born. The craftsmanship utilized for the Universal Ointment is revisited: handmade Limoges porcelain and stone setting on porcelain by one of the last remaining porcelain setters in France.
