Born featherless, the Bird is a speckled stoneware vase. Flowers give it its plumage and grasses serve as its whiskers. The appearance of this ever-changing animal will transform with each bouquet. In the spring, the Bird will become a tulip tree; by placing bulbs in its rounded belly, you will see bulb flowers grow through the holes in its back.
