A shower of stars over a caravanserai. It was hot. Scents of leather drift from the stables as precious objects are unpacked, along with oriental woods brought back from Byzantium. Amidst vapors of oud, vanilla, and sandalwood, a pause before the caravan stirs, leaving behind this warm and sensual fragrance. Alix D. Reynis scented candles are distinguished by their delicate Limoges porcelain vessel, inspired by the timeless shape of cups created by the Sèvres porcelain manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I at the very beginning of the 19th century. Each fragrance has been developed exclusively for Maison Alix D. Reynis by a master perfumer in Grasse. The wax is made from vegetable oils and the wicks are made of pure cotton. Once the candle is used up, the container can be repurposed as a vase, a tumbler, or a jar thanks to its elegant lid, sold separately. Notes: Oud, Amber, Cashmere Wood...
Sold without lid
Usage instructions: to ensure the candle burns evenly, it is recommended to let the wax melt to the edges of the tumbler and to trim the wick regularly before use to prevent it from emitting black smoke. The tumbler can be reused once the candle is finished and complemented by others from the collection. Clean it with hot soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any remaining wax.
