Acanthus scrolls intertwine on the hinges of the cathedral doors. A grandiose and eternal place where one walks in silence, enveloped in notes of incense. Mystical resins with distant evocations that, once burned, help the soul to rise. Discover this fragrance in the Napoléon shape, the new candle container imagined by Alix Depondt-Reynis. This search for a new form was born from the creator's desire to renew the spirit of the candle and reconnect with the essence of the Maison, a world where sculpture adorns everyday life. This scented candle is inspired by the timeless shape of the cups created by the Sèvres porcelain manufactory for Emperor Napoleon I at the very beginning of the 19th century. Each scent has been developed exclusively for Maison Alix D. Reynis by a master perfumer in Grasse. The wax is made from vegetable oils and the wicks are made of pure cotton. Once the candle is consumed, the container can be reused as a vase, a tumbler, or even a pot thanks to its elegant lid, sold separately. Notes: incense, elemi, cloves, and rosemary
Sold without lidUsage instructions: to ensure the candle burns evenly, it is recommended to let the wax melt to the edges of the tumbler and to trim the wick regularly before use to prevent it from emitting black smoke. The tumbler can be reused once the candle is finished and complemented by others in the collection. Clean it with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher to remove any wax residue.
